SPECIALIZED TECHNICAL STUDIES FOR THE REGULATORY COMPLIANCE OF THE VOLANTIS VESSEL.

CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT

The VOLANTIS vessel has an extensive global history in carrying out comprehensive construction, installation and trenching projects in a highly productive base. In addition to the most powerful pressure trencher in the world, the UT-1, which is permanently mobilized aboard the vessel.

As an integral part of the project the development is established of the technical studies to comply with the current regulation of PEMEX required for the operation in the Gulf of Mexico of the vessel Class II dynamic positioning vessel (DP2) VOLANTIS.

OBJECTIVE

To comply with the regulatory requirements of the safe operation of the VOLANTIS vessel, the following studies should be developed:

  • Risk Analysis (RA).
  • Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
  • Dynamic Positioning Loss Contingency Plan (DPLCP).
  • Environmental Contingency Plan (ECP).
  • Health Risks Atlas (HRA).
  • Hurricane Emergency Response Plan (HERP).
