SPECIALIZED TECHNICAL STUDIES FOR REGULATORY COMPLIANCE OF THE OCEAN STAR VESSEL.

CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT

Develop the technical studies to comply with the current regulation of PEMEX for the safe operation of the OCEAN STAR VESSEL, which is a Class II (DP2) dynamic positioning vessel. This vessel was designed to do offshore construction works, such as inspection, maintenance and repair of offshore equipment and installations, lodging, ROV activities and trenching of underwater pipelines through a specialized trenching machine (Tasmanian Tiger).

OBJECTIVE

To comply with the regulatory requirements of the safe operation of the Ocean Star vessel the following studies must be done:

  • Risk Analysis (RA).
  • Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
  • Dynamic Positioning Loss Contingency Plan (DPLCP).
  • Environmental Contingency Plan (ECP).
  • Health Risks Atlas (HRA).
